WATER & MOLD REMEDIATION

Water damage can happen a number of ways:

  • overflowing toilet
  • burst pipe or water heater
  • problematic water softener
  • reverse osmosis system
  • weather damage to your roof which could lead to leaks
  • water damage to ceilings, floors and walls
  • sewer or septic backup
  • water damage from putting out a small house fire

With 20 years of experience and expertise in home construction and restoration, you can trust our skilled professionals to quickly and properly assess damages to your property and help you decide on the best course of action.

You need a qualified and certified inspector to determine what should be done to mitigate the current damage and prevent additional damage, such as mold. Contact us today to learn more.

Damage Inspection

If you have had water damage from any source, we will follow a mitigation process to ensure that everything salvageable is saved while everything non-salvageable is replaced. First, we perform a full inspection that will include taking down the history of the building material, the condition it was in before the event, and the current level of damage.

Restoration Plan

From there, we will put together a drying plan. We will determine what can be saved and what can’t be. In some cases, water extraction and drying will be enough, but in other cases, such as with a sewage backup, removal of the contaminated items will be necessary. The items that we will inspect and create a plan for include the drywall, flooring, subflooring, cabinetry, insulation, baseboards, trim, and anything else that got wet.

We will keep you updated throughout the process and will let you know when you will be able to regain full use of your home.

Contact us today for a FREE inspection to find out whether you have dangerous mold in your home.

In most cases, mold comes from a lack of ventilation combined with water or moisture. It usually occurs in porous areas, such as in the drywall, carpeting, or insulation. In some cases, you will have an incident of water damage and mold will form just from that one event. In other cases, however, you’ll have a chronic exposure form a slow leak, persistent condensation, or a previous water damage event that was not cleaned up properly.

Mold in the home can be benign (harmless) or dangerous. The problem is that you don’t know what kind of mold you have or whether it is hazardous until you have it tested. At Hope Restoration , we provide a free visual inspection and will provide an honest assessment as to whether we think the discoloration or odor you’re noticing is a hazardous form of mold.

Mold in the home can cause respiratory issues, eye irritation, coughing, sore throats, sinus troubles, and skin irritation. Some of these effects stem from toxicity, but others are bothersome due to a sensitivity. One person in the family might be affected by mold while nobody else notices it. If you are having symptoms like this, consider having mold testing as possible.

If you suspect that you have mold in your home, contact us for a free initial mold testing appointment. We will conduct a mold inspection to determine whether you should proceed with further tests.

During the remediation process, we use containment procedures to keep the mold from spreading. We also use HEPA filters to block the ventilation and to keep any mold spores from entering your central air or heating unit. You can trust Hope Restoration’s professional technicians to keep your home and family safe while mitigating the mold.
